Walmart Multichannel Solutions (MCS) lets Walmart fulfill eligible orders from your other sales channels, such as your own store, Amazon or eBay. Crazy Vendor connects MCS to every channel you sell on and decides, order by order, when MCS is the right fulfillment option.
What Walmart MCS does
MCS is part of Walmart Fulfillment Services. In Walmart’s words, “we’ll fulfill eligible orders from any eCommerce site” (Walmart Developer). Walmart’s Sales Channel APIs let partners create and update sales channels, set the ship-from name customers see on labels, and manage several channels through one integration. A billing method must be on file and a sales channel created before orders can flow.
How Crazy Vendor works with MCS
- One order inbox: orders from Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify and Walmart arrive in one order management dashboard.
- Routing rules: send an order to Walmart WFS/MCS, Amazon MCF, a 3PL or your warehouse by SKU, channel, region, cost or SLA.
- Stock sync: every pick, cancellation and return updates available quantity on all channels to prevent overselling.
- Tracking push-back: tracking goes back to the channel the order came from.
- Cost visibility: compare MCS, MCF and 3PL cost per SKU in Profit Analytics.
MCS or Amazon MCF?
If most of your inventory is with Walmart, MCS lets you fulfill other channels from it. If most of it is in Amazon FBA, Amazon MCF can do the same in reverse. Crazy Vendor lets you use both and routes each order to the cheaper or faster option.
